BORN TO FLY Alessandro Benussi one of the most rapresentative italian snowboarder of the last decade and great fly fishing angler is the character of this movie filmed in Les Deux Alpes and around there. Bad week on the DFA homefront....

So last Friday disaster struck when the dumbasses digging a foundation in the lot next to ours collapsed our house. 
The building department has pretty much condemned our property and everything in it. 
Me and the wife are homeless and living out of a hotel for the time being but will probably be out of a place to live for a long time coming.  
I’m going to shut down the shop on the site for a bit until we have time to sort through all this devastating mess. 

Thanks for everyone’s support and well wishes. Hopefully we will be back on the river someday soon.

It is not every day I find a special stream like this with such robust wild brookies and indescribable beauty below the surface. Brook trout have lost a tremendous amount of habitat and genetic diversity to urbanization and excessive fish stocking. Please support and speak up for wild rivers and wild fish conservation.

Recently Rolf lost ALL his stuff in a huge fire that burned down the entire house he lived in. 

"Three weeks ago someone set fire to the house where me and my girlfriend were living. We both were lucky to get out through the balcony. But minutes later everything we owned was gone, and that includes all the footage I’ve filmed the last 10 years. I got out in my underwear, and that is all I own for now (my car broke down a week before the fire)."
